Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has expressed delight with his performance in his debut game for new club Columbus Crew.
Mensah who joined the MLS side from Russian side Anzhi during the January window was one of seven players that made their debut in their pre season friendly with Charleston Battery at MUSC Health Stadium in Charleston, S.C.
"And I'm glad to get into the team myself and see what he was talking about.
"It's a very true style of play [here]; it's very good.
"I'm just glad to be here and wish to help the team every time we play."
Mensah could make his league debut when Crew host Chicago Fire on March 4.
