Jordan Ayew scores for Aston Villa in latest defeat

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew grabbed his 7th goal of the season as his side succumbed to a 3-2 defeat to Watford in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Villa who have confirmed their demotion were looking to give their fans something to cheer about and Ciaran Clark gave them a dream start with a well taken goal on the 28th minute.

Almen Abdi brought Watford back into the game with a well taken free-kick a few seconds to the interval but Jordan Ayew played a lovely one-two with Rudy Gestede before planting the ball beyond Watford's Heurelho Gomes.

Shortly after that, Aly Cissokho was sent off for Villa and Troy Deeney found his scoring boots for Watford with a brace to condemn Villa to yet another defeat.

Ayew has been strongly linked with a move away from Villa Park and his scoring form is set to bring him more suitors.
