Karela United completes signing of former Dreams FC defender Maxwell Arthur

Former Dreams FC defender Maxwell Arthur has found a new home after completing a move to Ghana Premier League side Karela United.

The experienced defender ended his stay with the Still Believe lads at the end of last season. He was parted of the seven players released by CAF Confederations Cup campaigners.

Karela United are in the market searching for quality players to augment their squad for the new season and has therefore identified Maxwell Arthur as a perfect player to bolster their charges.

Maxwell Arthur has penned a two-year deal with Karela United and is expected to play a huge role for the club in the new season.

Karela United will open their Ghana Premier League account against Legon Cities in an away fixture at the El-Wak Stadium.

Meanwhile, the club has been moved to Tamale after failing to meet the club licensing requirement. Karela United is now owned by top NDC politician Haruna Iddrisu.
