KP Boateng impressed with the level of professionalism at Besiktas

Ghanaian striker Kevin-Prince Boateng has expressed that he has been impressed with the level of professionalism he has witnessed at Besiktas since joining the side.

The German-born attacker completed a loan move to the Turkish Super Lig side on transfer deadline day of the January window from Italian Serie A side Fiorentina.

In an interview, KP Boateng has revealed that has reminisced playing at Besiktas and Turkey for years.

“To be honest, we have been meeting with Beşiktaş for two years. I always see it as a priority to Turkey and Besiktas, and I wanted to come here”, the 32-year-old said in an interview on the club's YouTube channel.

Boateng added, “I had many Turkish friends around me in Berlin. I had many friends from Beşiktaş, where I grew up together. And as soon as the news came out, they texted me and said. You're finally going home.

"I was a little surprised by what I saw after coming to Beşiktaş to tell the truth. Of course, I knew Beşiktaş was a big club, but when you don't get into it, you cannot see some things”.

He further observed that he has been impressed with the level of professionalism he se has seen at his new club.

"I saw that the level of professionalism here is very high. I saw that the structure of the club was very solid. On the one hand, this shows that there is a lot of pressure and there is a lot of work to be done."
