My style of play won't change under new West Ham manager - Mohammed Kudus

Ghana star Mohammed Kudus has revealed that his style of play will not change despite the managerial changes at West Ham United.

Under the guidance of former manager David Moyes, the 23-year-old showcased his talent by netting an impressive 14 goals across all competitions, establishing himself as the club's second highest scorer and clinching the prestigious West Ham's goal of the season award.

As the upcoming season approaches, Kudus faces a new challenge with the appointment of Julen Lopetegui, the former manager of Sevilla and Wolves, as the head coach for the 2024/2025 campaign.

While managerial changes often bring a degree of uncertainty, Kudus has expressed confidence in maintaining his stellar performance under the new leadership.

In an interview at the Ghana Football Awards, he acknowledged the potential challenges of adapting to a different manager's style but affirmed his commitment to retaining his distinctive playing style, which has earned him recognition as the highest-scoring Ghanaian in the 2023/2024 Premier League season, with 8 remarkable goals to his credit.

"As players, we have to be able to adapt and be up for the various changes,” Kudus said.

"But for me, my style of play will remain the same regardless of the manager in charge. Obviously, I will blend in depending on what the coach wants, and what will give the team results, but I will keep my style," he added.
