Oly 1-2 Eleven Wonders: Wonders first away win of season lifts them from relegation

IX Wonders earned their first Ghana Premier league away win of the season as they moved off from the relegation table at the expense of opponents Accra Great Olympics.

The 1-2 victory for Sure Wonders means they leapfrog from the danger zone.

Musah Sulley's goal after 19th after some lax defending from Olympics set Wonders on their way before Awako equalised for the Dade boys. Ibrahim Salifu's goal secured the points for the away team.

Olympics provided some impetus in the closing stages but Ignatius Osei-Fosu' side held firm to earn a first away league victory since this season.

Wonders, who have struggled for away goals this term, displayed a clinical streak to score two and squandered many efforts which could have extend the scoreline.

Olympics hold  one of the worst defensive record in the league and also lacking firepower and paying for a 'nursery' mistakes the commited.

While Oly appeared to regain control of the game in the second half, there was a certain inevitability about the outcome once Wonders added the second goal.

The Dade boys may have dominated possession but their struggles were underscored by a lack of creativity and thrust in front of goal.

It ensured the hosts ended the evening with a 1-2 defeat
