Medeama SC goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi says playing for Accra Hearts of Oak is a big opportunity as he set sights on joining the Phobians.

Antwi has been linked with a move to several clubs in the Ghana Premier League including Hearts who want to beef up their squad ahead of the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.

The former Ghana U-20 shot-stopper has five months left in his contract with Medeama but has refused to sign a contract extension.

"I have five months left on my contracts with Medeama. Every team that wants me would have to discuss with my team Medeama. so I have left the contract discussions with my manager,” he told Onua TV.

"Playing for Accra Hearts of Oak is a big opportunity and it will improve my CV a lot. I will play for Hearts next season."

He added, "I will stay and play for Hearts if I’m comfortable with the contract that they bring compared to a team outside the country."

Meanwhile, Medeama will face Hearts on the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup on Sunday at the Cape Coast stadium.
