Asante Kotoko supporting base dubbed Kotoko Awareness Group has released a statement congratulating members and groups within the club following their qualification to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Reds beat Cameroonian side Coton Sports 5-3 on aggregate to make it to the group stage. Their achievement has been recognized by the supporting base who applauded them for achieving such a feat.
"The Executives of the Asante Kotoko Awareness Group extends it's warmest congratulations to the Executive Chairman, Management, Technical team and playing body of the Asante Kotoko for a spirited performance and qualifying to the group stage of the 2018/2019 CAF Confederation Cup".

The two-time African Champions have been paired in Group C with Nkana FC, Al-Hilal FC, and Zesco United. The games kick off on February 1 on various match venues.
