Sensational Andre Ayew wins Swansea City goal of the month award

Published on: 10 December 2020

Andre Ayew’s superb individual goal against Sheffield Wednesday has been voted Swansea City’s Westacres Goal of the Month for November.

The Ghana international junked his way through a crowd of players on the edge of the area before firing a left-footed short into the bottom corner.

Ayew’s strike beat off competition from his own close-range finish against Brentford, Connor Roberts’ brave header against Nottingham Forest and Chloe Chivers’ fantastic long-range strike for Swansea City Ladies against Cardiff Met.

All those who voted went into a draw to win a shirt signed by Andre, and the winner is Andrew Goulding.

The 30-year-old has already scored five goals in the ongoing English Skybet Championship season. He has pledged to ensure the club returns to the Premier League at the end of the season.

The Swans are sitting on the 4th position with 30 points.

Andre will be hoping to continue his fine form when Swansea City trave to play Cardiff City this weekend at the Cardiff City Stadium.
