Footballghana.com can report that Trabzonspor has rejected the offer from Torino for the signing of talisman Caleb Ekuban.
The Ghana international has in the last few weeks become a hot cake in the winter transfer window on the back of his excellent displays in the Turkish Super Lig.
As reported by your most trusted online portal earlier today, Torino has made an offer of 8 million Euro to Trabzonspor hoping to convince the Turks to sanction the sale of Caleb Ekuban.
Although the club feels tempted, they have according to confirmed sources rejected the bid from the Italian Serie B outfit.
Officials of Trabzonspor insist that the Black Stars forwards is one of their key assets and they have no plan on selling him.
This season, Caleb Ekuban has made 15 appearances for his club in the Turkish Super Lig and has seven goals and two assists to his name.
He is also regarded as one of the best forwards in the Turkish top-flight league this season.
