West Brom Among a Host of Premier League Teams Tracking Burnley Striker Andre Gray

West Brom are considering a £12m bid for Burnley striker Andre Gray, according to theDaily Star.

The forward has just 15 months left on his current contract and is yet to agree a new deal at Turf Moor. Gray has scored eight goals in 21 Premier League appearances this season, helping Burnley into 12th position as they look to avoid relegation.

Talks regarding a new deal have hit a standstill and it looks as if Gray could leave the club in the summer. Sean Dyche's side risk letting the former Brentford man leaving for free, given that his contract is coming to an end, and West Brom boss Tony Pulis is said to be monitoring the situation closely.

The Baggies have had a good season so far, with the likes of Salomon Rondon, Matty Phillips, James Morrison and Nacer Chadli all finding the back of the net regularly, while defender Gareth McAuley has also proven yet again to be a valuable goal threat from centre-back.

West Brom will face competition from other league rivals, with Everton, West Ham and Stoke all said to be interested in Gray. Everton could do with some support for star man Romelu Lukaku, who is currently joint top of the Premier League scoring charts alongside Tottenham's Harry Kane.

West Ham need an alternative to Andy Carroll, who remains injury prone despite scoring six goals in 14 Premier League appearances this season, while the return to form of Peter Crouch has given Stoke a valuable outlet in recent weeks, but may not prove enough in the long run.
